Diplo-MA課程は、Postgraduate DiplomaとMaster of Artsの二つの学位を授与する2年課程です。

大学院日本語教育学研究科Postgraduate Diploma課程では日本語教育の理論と実際について実践的なカリキュラムが組まれ、大学院Master of Arts（MA･修士）課程においては臨床研究をもとにアカデミックな研究ができるように構成されています。それぞれ1年間で修了し、修了証書（Postgraduate DiplomaあるいはMA）が授与されます。Diplo-MA課程は、これらの二つの課程を連続させた日本語教育学研究に関する専門課程です。 Diplo-MA課程は前期と後期で構成され、前期では英語力を養成するためのAcademic English（AE）がカリキュラムに組み込まれています。

DMA課程を所定の成績で修了すると、英国国際教育研究所・ロンドン教育大学院大学および英国グリニッジ大学よりPostgraduate DiplomaとMaster of Arts（MA）の二つの学位が授与されます。
DMA課程は、前期と後期の２学期制を採用しています。それぞれおよそ１年です。
DMA前期では、日本語教授法を中心とした実践的日本語教育について学びます。DMA後期では、日本語の言語学的な分析と日本語教育における教授法や言語習得等についての臨床研究に取り組みます。
DMA前期では、英語の学習も含まれています。大学院における学習や研究をより充実したものとするためのアカデミックな英語力養成です。IELTS（International English Language Testing System）のスコア6.5を超える英語力を目標とします。
